Hey all! I've decided to offer up commissions. I've got a few different options available for a range of prices, and all of those prices would be in Canadian dollars. So here's what I'm offering.

**Note** Simple backgrounds on coloured pieces constitute a gradient or mish-mash of colours like this picture's background, and they don't cost anything extra. Anything more complicated than that is considered 'complex' and will cost extra.

Traditional Bust/Portrait - $10
Any character, human, animal, any kind of made up creature from the shoulders up. No backgrounds for this one.

Traditional bust with digital colour and simple shading.

Complex Background Add $4

Digital Lineart, Bust or Full Body - $13
Doesn't matter what you want, you get the plain lineart for $13.

Digitally Lined + Coloured Bust/Portrait - $15
Get a portrait of your character lined and cel-shaded like the above or soft shaded, kind of like this picture. Please specify which kind of shading you'd like (and no, it doesn't have any impact on price).

Get your full character cel-shaded or soft shaded (see example above).

Digital Bust/Portrait (Lineless Ooh Fancy) - $17
Get a portrait of your character in a lineless style! I usually always do lineless paintings with soft shading but if you'd it like cel-shaded I can do that too.

Pimp out your full character with a lineless full body picture! Again, I usually do these soft shaded but I can do cel-shaded too.

To get a commission from me, start by emailing me at rachel@gidluck.ca with what you'd like. You can try my tumblr (diet-ragles) but since their messaging system can be spotty at times I'd recommend email. DO NOT note me on dA, as I hardly check it anymore. I'll do any character from any show, movie, comic, etc or your original characters. To do OCs I'll need a reference picture or a REALLY good description of them, or picture references for details like 'she has this kind of hair' or 'she wears this shirt'. Right now I'm not up for doing really explicit stuff but I'll do suggestive things or violent things (just tell me what you want, and I'll consider doing it).

Once you've determined what you want and I've confirmed I'll do your commission, you'll send payment via paypal (rachel@gidluck.ca), keeping in mind all the prices are in Canadian Dollars. For all examples from Digital Lineart onward I'll send you a picture of the sketch and if you have minor tweaks I'll do changes before continuing to lineart or colour. Once I'm done I'll send you the 300px resolution image. If you commission lineart and want to colour it yourself, or get someone else to colour it, I can also send the PSD.

1) If you could be any type of book, what would it be?
Fantasy please.

2) If you could meet any celebrity, and see them for a week. Who would it be?
Uhhh maybe Wil Wheaton? He's probably one celebrity I have the most in common with. It'd be great seeing Chris Hemsworth or Christian Bale or any number of super hot celebrities but I don't think I'd have much in common with them, therefore spending a week with them would be really boring.

3) Are you a big Twilight fan?
No, the fandom and all the hate ruined it for me.

4) Does music inspire you to draw or paint whatever you want?
Sometimes.

5) If you win a lot of money to go on a two week vacation to a place wherever in the world, where would it be, and why?
The Masai Mara while the migration is on so I can see literally every animal from Lion King because that's been my dream since forever.

6) What is your type of style in art?
I don't know, semi-realistic? I draw in lots of different styles, but they're all mine.

7) What do you like to draw or create that artwork?
????
I like to draw dragons and animals and I prefer digital painting if I understand the question...

8) Do you have a easy life or a complicated life, and why?
Heh... well I think I have an easy life in terms that I only have 3 classes, don't need a job during school and don't have to worry about paying for food or rent or tuition. But I have massive medical problems that will lead to a heart transplant in the future which will also probably mean I'll die by the time I'm 40 and I'd really prefer not to die in twenty years.

9)  Do you have any pets living at home with you, If yes what are they?
No, my mini poodle is back in Saskatoon.

10) Are you watching American Idol this year?
I haven't watched American Idol since like the third season. Was that the Clay Aiken season? I have no fucking idea.


Sorry, I don't feel like thinking up questions or tagging people.

So I suppose I should update you all on current events in my life, since I don't post this kind of shit on Facebook.

-- I've been working at the University of Saskatchewan in the Gwenna Moss Centre doing video and stuff
-- I got accepted to Medicine Hat College and into their 3-year Visual Communications program
-- I got accepted to residence at Medicine Hat
-- I had an angiogram that was really annoying and took 3 hours
-- I got told at the follow-up appointment that we'll start preparing for a heart transplant (meaning more appointments with lung specialists, or new drugs, and eventually evaluation by the transplant team in Edmonton, Alberta)
-- My cardiologist told me he'd prefer that I stay in Saskatoon
-- I cried a lot 'cause I'm 21 and some of my friends from high school have already graduated or are going into their fourth year and I feel like I just found out what I wanted to do, only to be told I shouldn't do it
-- I cried some more because I have awesome supportive friends
-- I decided to fuck it and go anyway
-- I move to Medicine Hat on the 30th/31st of August
-- My cardiologist has declared me disabled and I now have a fancy parking permit
-- I can park wherever I want yeah motherfuckers

Well my INCC class (for graphic design, web design, and video editing) finished today and I transferred my files home and tried to finally set up the domain that my dad's been paying for for years and I now have... A WEBSITE!
